OrcSlaughter

Welcome to OrcSlaughter - the most epic (and completely free) horde survival game you'll play today! Did we mention it's free? Because it is. Totally free. Zero dollars. Zilch. Nada.

Armed with nothing but your trusty sword and an endless supply of determination, you'll face wave after wave of bloodthirsty orcs in this fast-paced survival adventure. How long can you last? How many orcs can you slay? And most importantly, how much fun can you have for the low, low price of absolutely nothing?

Simple Controls, Maximum Fun

We kept the controls simple because complicated games aren't free... wait, this one is! Use the arrow keys or WASD to move your character around the battlefield, and press spacebar to unleash devastating attacks on your orcish foes. That's it! No complex combos, no skill trees, no microtransactions - just pure, unadulterated, free gaming goodness.

Open Source & Ethically Made

OrcSlaughter is proudly open source - you can view, modify, and contribute to the code on GitHub. All graphics and audio are either public domain or AI-generated, ensuring this free game stays free for everyone, forever.

A Quick Note on Security

Since OrcSlaughter is a free indie game, it's not digitally signed with expensive certificates. Your operating system might show a security warning - this is completely normal and expected for unsigned applications. Here's how to run the game on each platform:

Windows Users: Windows Defender SmartScreen may show a warning. Simply click "More info" and then click "Run anyway" to start the game.

macOS Users: If you see "OrcSlaughter is damaged and can't be opened", this is due to macOS quarantine protection. Open Terminal and run this command (replace the path with where you extracted the app):

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /path/to/OrcSlaughter.app

Then you can double-click the app to run it normally. This is a one-time step needed for unsigned apps downloaded from the internet.

These warnings are standard for free indie games and don't indicate any actual security risk - they're just your OS being extra cautious with unsigned software!

So what are you waiting for? Whether you play in your browser above or download the desktop version, start your orc-slaying adventure today! Your wallet will thank you (because you didn't have to open it).
